New Specialist Application Team Formed
In a drive to further improve performance and provide clients with access to highly trained experts, BIS Salamis has established a new Specialist Application Team who will work across all projects to ensure BIS Salamis remains a market leader in the provision of coating solutions.
The team of hand-picked experts has extensive experience within the industry and each member has undergone rigorous training in the application of leading specialist paints and composite repair systems.
Dave Coulton, one of BIS Salamis' technical authorities, explains more about the benefits the new team offers clients; "The Specialist Application Team will work across all projects to drive proficiency and consistency, ensuring exceptional service delivery. If a project requires the use of a specialist coating we will deploy members of our Specialist Application Team who will oversee the workscope from initial survey to completion.
"By calling on their extensive experience and training the team can recommend the most appropriate coating to ensure cost-effective results and excellent corrosion control whilst minimising risk to workers and the environment. In addition to blasting and painting and vessel entry training from our own BIS Skills Centre, the team has also undergone manufacturer-specific training including a week long course at Belzona's training facility in Harrowgate and tuition in the application of industry-leading composite repair systems."
"The team has already been successfully mobilised to a number of clients' assets and we will look to expand the team in line with BIS Salamis' recent contract awards."
