Dates announced for BIS Salamis Innovations Event 2010

Following on from the success of the 2009 Innovations Showcase, BIS Salamis has announced that the second annual event will take place at the BIS Skills Centre, Broadfold Road, Aberdeen, on the 15th-16th September.

This year BIS Salamis will be joined by over 30 key suppliers to introduce visitors to some of the latest training, fabric maintenance, architectural, environmental and inspection service advancements currently changing the face of the industry.

Those attending will have the opportunity to take part in various hands-on demonstrations focusing on a wide range of services and products from BIS Salamis and its suppliers.

This event will also mark the official launch of the recently refurbished BIS Skills Centre. Wendy Stephan, Skills Centre Manager, commented; "BIS Salamis has invested heavily in the BIS Skills Centre over the years to ensure we maintain our position as a leading provider of specialist training services to the oil and gas market and related industry sectors.

"Events such as the Innovations Showcase not only provide us with an ideal opportunity to demonstrate the latest innovations and solutions which BIS Salamis has on offer, but to show our customers the full scope and capability of the BIS Skills Centre.

"The previous Innovations Showcase was a great success and we received excellent feedback from those who attended. We are confident that this years' event is going to be just as successful."
